Big thanks to TheRon for once again bringing quality subs to the Nanoha fans outside of Japan. For those who were waiting for better subs or are still waiting on their disc to come in the mail, here’s you chance to watch it now.
This movie’s official subs were noticeably worse than Reflection’s which were already awful. I immediately gave up on editing them and just started from scratch. I did a tally of their translation mistakes this time. I did not count lines that had poor grammar, vague meanings, or awkward phrasings since that might’ve included about half the script. Judging by that lenient standard, the official BD subs had 231 mistranslated lines. They were utter garbage. They even got the movie’s ending completely wrong.
The video is my own rip and encode using the same settings as always. The 720p version is 8-bit and should play on almost any device that supports softsubs while the 1080p version is 10-bit for those seeking the highest quality. This 1080p copy is twice as big as Reflection’s, but it’s simply due to this video not compressing nearly as well because of constant motion and gradients in the backgrounds. The 1080p MKV also includes a surround sound audio track in addition to the same stereo track as the 720p version.
And in case you need to catch up on the series, here’s the past four years’ worth of Nanoha BDs. I’ve got a seedbox hosting them, but any help is very appreciated. Please note that the torrent descriptions include links to assorted extras.
And if you want to support the original movie, consider buying a physical copy for your collection, even if you never actually use the disc to watch the movie when you’ve got much better subs and a more convenient medium right here.
There’s plenty of reputable exporters of Japanese goods to choose from. I personally recommend CDJapan as that’s where I buy all my Nanoha movies.

Better late than never, perhaps. But at the same time, after all this time, it’s almost sad to see it come to a close.

We join Vivio one last time, not just to look back at how far she’s come, but to contemplate just how far she could go. We’ve watched her grow and the opportunities still ahead of her seem endless. So let’s share one more day with Vivio and take a moment to look forward to all the possible futures she could have, even if we won’t be able to see them ourselves.
Einhart is arguably just as important to this story as Vivio herself. So it’s only right and fitting that we see where her own journey has taken her.
