I read this whole thing and I really loved it, the concept of retelling the story a second time but with a great alteration was amazing.
Also near the end of the fight one of Nanoha’s eyes looked like it was dead.
and the Starlight Breaker looked the the Spirit Bomb from Dragon Ball Z. xD

Agreed, maybe it was drawn like that to show you how severe the wound was, i think.
now you mention it starlight breaker really looked like the spirit bomb O.o

not really, because in anime series both divine buster and starlight breaker are shot (executed) using the staff (Rising Heart). I’m too used to watching the anime series 😀
