Hello everyone. It’s been quite the year.
It was this year that saw us releasing a few ViVid Strike doujins, after the finale of the anime, and wrapping up ViVid Strike with the OVA episode.
We also had to deal with a little annoyance to our download archives which lead us to switch hosting providers and be more proactive in ensuring that we got our releases over to Dynasty-Scans as quickly as possible to make sure everyone can enjoy our scanlations no matter what happens.
This was also the year where we started up a Vivid Translations Discord server.
While it’s main purpose was to give the team a more real-time way to communicate, it’s also a place for fans of ViVid to gather (when they’re not all on the Midchilda Discord).
It’s a nice place to engage with other fans as well as coordinate our projects.
Feel free to stop by sometime and say hello.
Now, we did enter a bit of a rough patch this year and we had ViVid going into an unfortunate hiatus for far longer than anyone wanted. But as you recently saw, an unexpected influx of talent came our way and got Nanoha ViVid releases rolling again.
With that, it’s my pleasure to announce that KakAlakin has been made an official member of the team. Feel free to leave some kind words below in celebration.
As quite a few of the original members have had to slow down their time commitments to ViVid, we’ve thankfully been getting new teammates to help pick things back up again.
On a final note for the year, I want to give a big thank you to everyone who’s stuck around with us and with ViVid throughout the years. Your encouragement is always appreciated. Here’s hoping you’ll be back with us for more releases in 2018.
Cheers and have a vivid new year.
