I am an avid fan of YukaNana I mean, Tamura Yukari and Mizuki Nana. And of course the whole franchise of the Nanoha series, and most importantly NanoFate.

I guess the reason as to why the translator puts it as Lio in the script is because names and words that are spelled with an L in Japanese are pronounced with an R sound instead, if thats not the case then who knows.

These were translated before we have noticed the official spelling was out, and it was the TL Checker’s Job to correct them. But the TL Checker is not available so we just went ahead and released it. I’ll give a heads up to the Proofreaders. Thank you.

Everytime I see it spelled as Lio, I keep expecting her to start eating people…

I’m kind of divided on using official spellings, honestly. While I prefer Rio, I don’t think anyone wants to see “Einhard.”

Why not though? It makes literally no difference, both are equivalent spellings (and are even pronounced the same) of the same German name. People fight over the weirdest things sometimes, honestly.

Well it’s certainly not something I’d want to call a cute girl.

Besides, you know how mature the internet is. ‘Hard’ is definitely not going to get respectful reactions, lol.
